The Fukuoka City Public Library Film Archive, established in 1996 and an affiliate member of FIAF (the International Federation of Film Archives) since 2004; FIAF news here), collects Japanese and other Asian films in addition to its primary collection of local and regional visual material. The Film Archive, in addition to preserving its 800+ collection in a 3 stage film vault and exhibiting its collection at its Movie Hall Ciné-là, also operates a variety of other facilities and services.The programming schedule of the Movie Hall Ciné-là can be obtained here.
